Abolish VAT on e-book sales.

August 19, 2011

The new government petitions website is designed to allow any petition that receives over a hundred thousand signatures to be discussed in parliament.  You can add your name to the petition to abolish Value Added Tax on e-book sales by following this link:

From HM Government’s e-petitions website: “e-petitions is an easy way for you to influence government policy in the UK. You can create an e-petition about anything that the government is responsible for and if it gets at least 100,000 signatures, it will be eligible for debate in the House of Commons.”

Currently the most popular petition on the site is to re-open the debate on capital punishment in the UK.  My short story The Wheel of Justice is a dark comedy that looks at the death penalty in the United States in a satirical fashion.
